Shahriyar Khorasani
A Leader/Artist from Persian descent, currently serving as the COO of Khorasani Studio and the Co-Founder & Chairman of the Board of the Maryam Moodi Art Institute. The institute is named after the Persian painter Maryam Moodi, who is also my mother, and is dedicated to nurturing young and passionate artists — mostly girls — and helping them discover their creative voice. At Khorasani Studio, I lead artistic direction and management, bringing together traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern design. As a visual artist myself, I specialize in modern calligraphy-painting rooted in contemporary Kufi structures. Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply passionate about sports, cinema and reading, and I’ve built a reputation for taking on challenges others consider impossible.
My career stands at the intersection of disciplined leadership and imaginative artistry. I collaborate globally — including with Hollywood artists and creative professionals — always driven by the belief that creativity is a transformative power. I hold a lifelong conviction that “I believe it's every artist's duty to help people let their creativity shine. Art is the main reason of evolving civilizations and cultures. It doesn't matter what type of art you do, you can bring peace to this world.”

Khorasani Studio
As the Chief Operating Officer of Khorasani Studio, I oversee the full operational, strategic, and artistic direction of the studio. My role bridges creative leadership with executive management: I coordinate visual art projects, guide brand and design development, and ensure that our work maintains the studio’s signature blend of traditional Persian aesthetics and modern innovation. I manage teams, streamline workflows, build partnerships, and lead high-level decisions that shape the studio’s artistic identity and global collaborations.
Maryam Moodi Art Institute
As the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board, I shape the long-term vision and educational strategy of the Maryam Moodi Art Institute. I oversee academic planning, institutional growth, program development, and quality standards while supporting the mission of teaching art to young, passionate artists — primarily girls. I ensure that our institute remains a nurturing, inspiring space where new talents can flourish. My work also includes supervising exhibitions, launching initiatives that support artistic careers, and maintaining the legacy of my mother, the Persian painter Maryam Moodi, after whom the institute is named.
Art Background
I began my artistic journey as a teenager, inspired by my parents — both well-known artists — and naturally gravitated toward visual arts and modern calligraphy-painting. Alongside my work in contemporary Kufi, I’ve developed a strong inclination toward cinema and its visual language. I teach my art, and my workshops and exhibitions across multiple countries have allowed me to share my craft with diverse audiences on an international stage.
